The Benefits of Online Education: American University of Armenia

English Programs Coordinator, Syuzanna Khachatryan of Children of Armenia Fund was a speaker at AUA (the American University of Armenia). The colloquium aimed to bring together educators and practitioners from leading organizations in Armenia to share their experiences in providing online education. It offered a platform for participants to discuss the most recent developments and trends as well as challenges encountered and solutions adopted in different aspects of online education.

A focus of the program was online English for adults in Armenia’s Regions that were funded by the U.S. Embassy and implemented by COAF. Results from the discussion concluded that while face-to-face education was more beneficial a mixture of both online and Face-to-face courses were far more significant in helping the participants grow. Also, the event was organized by the Center for Research in Applied Linguistics, College of Humanities & Social Sciences.
