New programs equal more fun and new experiences for children in COAF schools. Children of Armenia Fund attended a speed networking event as an associate member of the American Chamber of Commerce of Armenia (AmCham) http://amcham.am/. This gave COAF an exclusive chance to pitch projects to AmCham corporate members for possible funding.
COAF presented two programs
- GOALS: a football league in Lori-presented by Peace Corps volunteer Brian Leapold. Brian used a ball signed by the Lori team league players to speak about the initiative, how the girls are excited and what the benefits are.
- Brushadrom: presented by COAF doctor Lusine Shakayan who was handing the panel members a toothbrush asking them to show the correct technique for brushing and then using charts and graphs to speak about the incidence of cavities, COAF’s comprehensive approach to combating it and our innovative Brushadrom idea.
